Rob is an Adult/Paediatric Emergency Medicine Advanced Trainee currently based in Melbourne, Australia. He has special interests in medical education, ECG interpretation, and the use of diagnostic and procedural ultrasound in the undifferentiated patient.
He has recently completed a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU) in Emergency Medicine, and has a strong focus on critical care echocardiography. He is a previous member of the ACEM Ultrasound Committee where he assisted in the development of the new training curriculum.
Rob is a Teaching Associate for Monash University and lectures the ECG curriculum for the MICA post-graduate paramedicine programme. He has a passion for bridging the gap between emergency and pre-hospital education, in particular in the realms of ultrasound and ECG interpretation.
He was a member of the 2021 ANZCEN Clinician Educator Incubator programme, a 12-month international interfaculty program aimed at developing skills as a clinician educator.
