Johannes von Esmarch
Johannes Friedrich August von Esmarch (1823 – 1908) was a German Surgeon.
Known for the ‘bloodless operation’, the bandage and the maneuver whereby the lower jaw is brought forward in an unconscious patient to provide an open airway
