Resuscitology Update: Sydney and Melbourne 2019
We all know you don’t need to go to conferences to learn the latest facts about saving lives. You can read journal articles, subscribe to Critical Care Reviews and The Bottom Line, read FOAM blogs and listen to FOAM podcasts for that.
But if you want to join a gathering of like-minded Resuscitationists who learn from each other in a never-ending quest to optimise their practice, then you need to come to a course like Resuscitology. Resuscitology is all about learning, connection, and positive change.
Resuscitology is facilitated by a core team of Cliff Reid, Natalie May, Chris Nickson (me!), Brian Burns, Karel Habig, and Geoff Healy. We are a team of experienced educators who are also frontline clinicians, and between us we work across all critical care domains from prehospital through to the ICU. What unites us is our shared belief that the best learning comes from real cases – our triumphs and our disasters – and that we all learn best, both participants and facilitators, when we collaboratively discuss and dissect the challenging aspects of our work in a safe environment. Examples of the types of cases analysed are available on the Resuscitology website here.
While it sounds like spots are pretty much filled for the Manchester course in December 2019, the good news is that there are still spots available for Sydney in October 2019 and Melbourne in November 2019. Furthermore, there are now options for single day attendance and greatly reduced rates for trainees and non-physician resuscitationists. Check out a sample course programme to see what is involved.
Come join us as we explore the art and science of saving lives. Follow @Resuscitology on Twitter and register for courses here.
