Hein Wellens
Henrick Joan Joost (Hein) Wellens (1935-2020) was a Dutch cardiologist.
One of the founding fathers of the clinical cardiac electrophysiology
Described the mechanism of reentry tachycardia, including Wolff–Parkinson–White syndrome

- Wellens syndrome (1982) ECG pattern of deeply inverted or biphasic T waves in V2-3, which is highly specific for a critical stenosis of the left anterior descending artery (LAD).
