1908 – Klaus Pätau (1908-1975), German-born, American Cytogeneticist; described Patau syndrome (1960)
1909 – Hugh Edward Hailey (1909-1963), American dermatologist; described Hailey-Hailey disease (Familial Benign Chronic Pemphigus)
Deaths
1948 – Gustave Roussy (1874-1948) was a Swiss-French neuropathologist; described Darier-Roussy sarcoid (1904) , Déjerine-Roussy syndrome (1906), Roussy-Lévy syndrome (1926), and Roussy-Cornil syndrome (1919)
