Comms Lab: Pathos

Comms Lab: Episode 27

PATHOS: Build Trust at the Level of Emotion

In this week’s video, we take a deep dive into Aristotle’s ancient concept of PATHOS… specifically: how we can build trust at the level of emotion. As with the previous video on ETHOS, we’ll also take a look at the potential pitfalls of PATHOS, and of course, how to avoid them.

This concept has proven extremely powerful for me when applied to any level of interaction, from one-on-one conversations, to small group debriefings, to presentations in front of a large audience.

I hope you find the same.
