Cyanide Poisoning Antidotes

I really enjoyed drawing the Cyanide Poisoning Antidotes flashcard. I really put Travis to the test by drawing out biochemistry pathways…The original design was to take place on an illustrated mitochondria however, there wasn’t enough room.

To symbolize amyl nitrate and sodium nitrate, I drew a bottle of “poppers” and “rush”, both appear later on flashcards for methemaglobinemia and inhalants. I designed this flashcard specifically for a lecture given at the ACEP New Speakers Forum.

After seeing what Travis the illustrator was capable of with this flashcard, I became inspired to write a set of flashcards on pathophysiology. However, these flashcards are going to take a backseat to the set of Infectious Disease flashcards!
