Heart HQ – Episode 14: Happy New Year
As the year draws to a close, we reflect on the year that was and look ahead to a busy 2022.
They also discuss a busy on-call Christmas period, which included a case of severe aortic stenosis. In this case, Peter performed a balloon valvuloplasty, where a small balloon is placed across the aortic valve and inflated, allowing the valve leaflets to open more freely.

After completing his training in Brisbane and Perth with an interventional cardiology fellowship, he returned to paradise to take up cardiology consulting at various local hospitals and now is a director of HeartHQ.
