1912 – Edgar ‘Gar’ Alexander Pask (1912-1966), English anaesthetist; described and researched high altitude parachute descents, life jackets and their efficiency, methods of artificial respiration and hypothermia prevention
1923 – Thomas Evans Twitchell (1923-2017), American neurologist; defined sequential motor recovery after hemiplegia, shaping Brunnstrom staging and Fugl-Meyer assessment.
