Toyota Land Cruiser LC005 watch
LC005 is the fourth confirmed model in the Toyota Land Cruiser watch series from the 1990s, and one of the most tool-oriented designs. It is a large analogue quartz chronograph with 1/20-second timing, a unidirectional rotating steel bezel and substantial stainless-steel case, with the LAND CRUISER name prominently applied to the case flank.
Like the LC008, the LC005 is powered by a Seiko/Epson YM55A quartz chronograph movement. The Land Cruiser vehicle illustration returns to the screw-down caseback, while the stainless-steel bracelet is fitted with a clasp signed LAND CRUISER. At 42.2 mm in diameter, it is substantially larger than the earlier LC001 and LC003 and has the strongest conventional “tool watch” character of the series.
Two variants have been identified: 7115 LC005-01 with black dial and 7116 LC005-02 with blue dial. The black LC005-01 is confirmed by surviving original packaging and JAN/EAN-13 4902907571156; the sequential product code strongly suggests 7116 for the blue LC005-02.

Case and bracelet
The 42.2 mm stainless-steel case is fitted with a unidirectional rotating steel bezel and chronograph pushers. LAND CRUISER branding is incorporated into the case flank, making the vehicle association visible even when the watch is viewed from the side. The stainless-steel bracelet is fitted with a folding clasp signed LAND CRUISER.
Movement
The LC005 is powered by the Seiko Epson (formerly Hattori) YM55A quartz chronograph movement. The YM55A is a battery-powered mechanical-quartz hybrid with a 3.70mm thickness and requires a 395 cell

Caseback
The LC005 has a screw-down stainless-steel caseback engraved with the LC005 model designation, Land Cruiser vehicle illustration and LAND CRUISER logo. Individual serial numbers are present, but unlike the LC001 numbering format, surviving examples include numbers above 1000.
The caseback is additionally marked WATER RESISTANT 20 BAR and JAPAN MADE.
Original packaging
Surviving LC005 sets have been found with a Land Cruiser-branded presentation box, warranty documentation, Maruman instruction manual and model-specific hang tag.
The original labels are valuable in reconstructing the series. They associate the black LC005-01 variants with the sequential product code 7115, with JAN/EAN numbers (4902907571156). The blue variant is most probably 7116 LC005-02.
