Toyota Land Cruiser LC009 watch

LC009 is the seventh confirmed model in the Toyota Land Cruiser watch series from the 1990s and represents another major change in design. This time a large, entirely digital tool watch with an integrated stainless-steel bracelet and substantial 42 mm case.

The LC009 is powered by a W820A quartz digital movement, with a large multi-section LCD display. Land Cruiser branding is prominent on the dial and case, while the vehicle illustration returns on the stainless-steel caseback. There is no limited-edition or xxxx/1000 numbering.

Two variants have been identified. The 7125 LC009-01 with white surround and 7126 LC009-02 with black surround. Original packaging confirms 7125 LC009-01, with JAN/EAN-13 4902907571255. The adjacent product code strongly supports 7126 LC009-02 for the black version.

Movement

The LC009 is powered by the W820A, an all-digital quartz movement. Information is displayed across a large segmented LCD, with multiple operating modes selected using the case pushers.

Case and bracelet

The LC009 is one of the largest watches in the series, measuring 42 mm in diameter, 52 mm lug-to-lug and 16.6 mm thick. The substantial stainless-steel case incorporates four exposed bezel screws and prominent LAND CRUISER branding around the lower bezel.

The stainless-steel bracelet is integrated into the case, reinforcing the unusually substantial construction. Unlike several earlier models, the bracelet/clasp carries no LAND CRUISER signature.

Caseback

The LC009 uses a screw-down stainless-steel caseback engraved with the Land Cruiser vehicle illustration, LAND CRUISER logo and LC009 model designation. The caseback is marked WATER RESISTANT 10 BAR and JAPAN MADE.

No individual production number or /1000 limited-edition sequence has been identified.

Original packaging has been identified for the white-surround LC009. Its label confirms product code 7125, LC009-01, with JAN/EAN-13 4902907571255.

A corresponding original label for the black-surround variant has not yet been identified, but the contiguous product-code sequence supports its provisional identification as 7126 LC009-02.
